Mold-Tek to expand BPO unit

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Mold-Tek Technologies Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board has decided to expand its business process outsourcing (BPO) division following some recent project wins.

The company has decided to increase headcount to 100 from the present 25. The expansion is being met through internal accruals.

The board, which met on December 20, intimated the BSE that it had signed a few long-term contracts worth $3 million with six-US clients. The board resolved to explore opportunities in value-added services in the health care and insurance sectors. The BPO division handles structural engineering services for builders, manufacturers and consultants.
