This is with reference to the article "Striking the middle path" (Business Line, December 14). The author has come out with suggestions that are definitely worth considering.

Incidentally, it is also necessary for people to recognise that an unjust society cannot hope to make any significant progress; that one cannot be expected to pay for past sins of the higher castes by denying employment opportunities to the under-privileged of these castes.
