Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Internet banking customers of Syndicate Bank can now book their railway tickets online.

The bank has joined hands with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer this facility to its customers free-of-cost, a bank spokesman said here. Customers need to first register their names at the IRCTC Web site (www.irctc.co.in) .

After logging in, they can plan their travel, select the tickets and proceed to the payment option. They will then be required to give in their login ID and password for Syndinet (Syndicate Bank Internet Banking).

They can select the accounts from which they want to make payments and confirm transactions by furnishing transaction passwords.
