Nasscom signs MoU with Pak counterpart

Moumita Bakshi

New Delhi , Dec. 22

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) and Pakistan Software Houses Association have recently signed a memorandum of understanding to increase trade and cooperation. The MoU was signed recently during the visit of a delegation led by Nasscom to Pakistan.

"The MOU paves the way for exchange of information between the two sides, identifies areas for co-operation, facilitates delegation visits and looks at ways to remove impediments to trade," the Nasscom President, Mr Kiran Karnik, told Business Line. He said that the two areas of opportunity for Indian IT companies in Pakistan were banking and energy sectors.
