Catholic Syrian Bank to market SBI MF plans

THE Catholic Syrian Bank has decided to market the products of SBI Mutual Fund. An agreement to this effect was signed between Mr N.R. Achan, Chairman of CSB, and Mr P.G.R. Prasad, Managing Director of SBI Funds Management, at Thrissur on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Mr N.R. Achan said: "Our aim is to provide all the financial and investment solutions to our customers under one roof. The tie up with SBI Funds Management is one step in providing top class investment solutions to our customers."

In answer to a question, Mr P.G.R. Prasad said that this distribution agreement would not cannibalise into the deposit base of the bank.
