DishTV comes to Kerala

Our Bureau

KOCHI: ASC Enterprises Ltd, the first Direct-to-Home (DTH) licensee in India, which has been operating under the brand name DishTV is bringing entertainment to Kerala's subscribers through digital direct transmission to their homes.

"The viewer has absolute control over what he watches and what he pays for," DishTV said in a press release issued here. The channel offering is so devised, keeping in mind the diverse needs of people in all regional parts of the country.

The television viewing experience is itself a far superior experience from what consumers have been experiencing from other mediums, the release said. As the signals are received direct-to-home from satellite, they give digital picture quality with a stereophonic audio output.

This ensures transparent and most reliable television entertainment, both from the viewers and broadcasters perspective, which allows hassle free transmission without any interruption.
