Pfizer MD is `CFO of the Year'

MUMBAI: Pfizer's Executive Director, Mr Kewal Handa, has been given the India CFO Award 2004 by the Indian Management Association (IMA).

The IMA India CFO Awards are for financial distinction and Mr Handa has been instrumental in taking Pfizer Ltd through two mergers - with Parke-Davis and Pharmacia - a company note said.

He also heads the pricing committee of the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India, a forum for multinational drug firms.
