IA launches direct flight on Guwahati, Bangkok route

INDIAN Airlines is to start twice-a-week direct flight on the Guwahati-Bangkok sector from January 1.

In a statement, the airline has said that the flight will operate from Guwahati on Thursdays and Saturdays and from Bangkok on Mondays and Fridays.

The flight is scheduled to leave Guwahati at 12.30 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 4.30 p.m. In the return direction, the flight will leave at 2.10 p.m. on Monday and at 2.20 p.m. on Fridays.

The airline is to operate the new flight with an Airbus A-320 aircraft.
