Petrotech to pave way for more Indo-Russian ventures

DR A.K. Balyan said that Petrotech 2005 would pave way for more Indo-Russian joint ventures along the hydrocarbon value chain.

One of the major collaborators with India in oil and natural gas sector, Russia will participate in this year's Petrotech in a big way.

The international conference will organise sessions on the emerging option of `gas hydrates' and `deep water exploration'.

The sessions will be attended by leading researchers and technology providers in the world.

Organised once in two years, this year's Petrotech has already oversold the exhibition space.

Apart from petroleum and natural gas companies, the conference will be attended by associated sectors such as shipping, road transport, power, engineering and financial institutions.
