THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The all-India written examination for recruitment of probationary officers to the State Bank of India, which was to have been held on October 31, will now be held on January 9, says a bank press release.

In Kerala, the examination will be held in four cities — Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kottayam and Kozhikode, the release adds.

As the examination venues in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi have been changed, fresh call letters with details of the revised venues have been sent to all candidates appearing for the test at these two centres, the release says.

For candidates appearing for the test at the Kottayam and Kozhikode centres, the call letters issued earlier will remain valid.
