Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: Tecumseh Products India Ltd on Monday said it has more than doubled exports of its air-conditioning range of compressors to Rs 200 crore during the last calendar year, compared to Rs 80 crore in 2003.

The company, which is the Indian arm of US-based Tecumesh Products Company, attributed its performance to its aggressive marketing strategy in new territories of China, Korea and sustained growth in its exports to West Asia, particularly Saudi Arabia, and SAARC.

Tecumseh India has a manufacturing unit in Hyderabad, where it is in the process of establishing a facility for rotary compressors, the company said in a statement here.
