XLRI marketing expo begins

KOLKATA: XLRI Jamshedpur has hosted its marketing fair, MAXI.

The fair, a press note issued by the institute has claimed, has established itself as a big event in the Indian B-school circuit. It involves a pioneering research tool, conceptualised and developed by Dr Sharad Sarin, Professor of Marketing at XLRI, it is said. The event is said to have set many precedents, including one that solves `problems' for companies.

Corporates which have presented problems to XLRI's marketing fair for study till date include the ANZ group, Cadbury, Citibank, Coca-Cola, HSBC, Nestle, P&G and Philips. Indian corporates that have actively participated in the fair include Hindustan Lever, State Bank of India, ICICI, GIC, Tata Tea, Arvind Mills and Asian Paints.
