This milkman talking on a mobile will soon be without a ration card as he falls out of the Government criteria for yellow ration cards. The elimination criteria for families include owning a telephone/ mobile phone, vehicle, five acres of land, etc. The Department of Food and Civil Supplies eliminated seven lakh bogus yellow ration cards in 2004 and seven lakh more will be eliminated by March.
