Kochi , Jan. 7

THE Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) on Friday said the India International Seafood Show, to be held in Kolkata during February 4-6, has been postponed to next year in view of the tsunami disaster.

The show was to have been organised by the Authority jointly with the Seafood Exporter's Association of India. The new dates for the show are February 3-5, 2006 and the venue remains unchanged, the MPEDA said in a statement here.

The organisation took such a decision to join hands with the Government and other institutions in rehabilitation of the fishing community affected by the tsunami, the statement said.
