Samsung unveils national digital imaging initiative

New Delhi , Jan. 7

SAMSUNG India Electronics Ltd today announced its national digital imaging initiative to popularise digital photography amongst Indian consumers.

"This national digital initiative is a part of our ongoing programme to create an aspirational digital lifestyle for the Indian consumer," Mr Vivek Prakash, Vice-President of Samsung India, said.

Towards this end, the company has announced the launch of six new models making a total offering of 13 models of digital cameras in India.

The company has also announced the expansion of its retail presence for digital cameras across the country.
