3-day meet this month on trends, emerging tech in paint industry

CHANGING colour preferences of consumers, impact of counterfeits on the paint industry and emerging technologiesare some of the aspects that will be discussed at the three-day Indian Paint Conference and Exhibition to be held in Mumbai this month.

Over 1,000 delegates from the paint and allied industries from the country and outside are expected to take part in this conference to review issues, highlight latest trends and technologies and discuss developments .

"The Indian paint industry is currently looking up at an all-time high and holds great promise for the future.

"There lies tremendous potential and opportunity in this market and the India Coatings Show in 2005 will look at exploring just that," a news release said quoting Mr Jalaj Dani, convener of the conference.
