SPG Media (India), the wholly-owned subsidiary of SPG Media Group plc of the UK, has moved over to a new facility in Hyderabad and plans to expand its operations here.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Chairman of SPG Media Group plc., a London Stock Exchange listed business to business services provider, Mr Steve Nicholson, said that the India centre established at Hyderabad with three people in 1993 has grown to a 115 member team providing business intelligence and media related solutions to its global clients.

"Having moved to a new premises here on Monday, we now plan to increase the number here to about 180 by the year end and expect to launch our own specialised search engine that meets the requirements of top decision makers in corporations," he explained.

The Director of SPG Media (India), Mr Vijay Chintamani, said India's unmatched value proposition for customers based on factors such as cost savings, productivity gains and quality improvements have given it an edge in the global ITES-BPO marketplace.
