Artisans of the Kumbaran community in Thonnallur near Thrissur at a workshop on creating designer ceramics organised by the Small Industries Service Institute in association with the local Kudumbashree unit. Twenty-two Kumbaran families in Thonnallur eke out a living by supplying earthen pots to nurseries and private agencies for Re 1 or Rs 2 apiece.
