`Destination for education'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, has said that Kerala will be made an international destination for education.

The Chief Minister said this while addressing a team of visiting non-resident entrepreneurs in the hospitality and banking sectors from the US. He forecast massive investments making their way into the State's IT, infrastructure, education and health sectors during the days to come.

The Tourism Minister, Mr K.C. Venugopal, and the Secretary-Tourism, Mr E.K. Bharat Bhooshan, accompanied the Chief Minister in the discussions with the visiting team. Mr Chacko P. Varghese led the non-resident businessmen.
