Strategy Guardian Holidays offers new scheme Our Bureau
Pune , Jan. 11
THE Pune-based Guardian Holidays Pvt Ltd is all set to cater to tourists, who are looking at enjoying far-flung destinations at affordable rates, with a new scheme Fly Free 2005. Talking to presspersons, Mr Sandeep Joshi, Director of Guardian Holidays, said the company offers free return air tickets on its Europe tours for 2005. The offer is valid on a limited number of seats and the booking should be done at least three months in advance. It also offers free return air tickets to companions on its US and the Far East tours for 2005. He notes that for a trip to Europe for 15 days, the cost would workout to Rs 1,45,000 per person, but Guardian is offering it at the rate of Rs 1,25,000. According to him, this is the lowest that any of the airlines can offer. The departure for the Europe tour would begin from April 24. Mr Sandeep notes that it is no gimmick but an opportunity. "We manage this offer by grabbing the low cost super apex fares offered by the airlines. The best part is this offer would make the international tourism affordable even to the common man. For instance, a three-night four-day halt in Malaysia would work out to Rs 18,000 per person, which is quite in the affordable range," he notes. Asked about the earlier scheme, which the company had launched nine months ago, the senior citizens aged 55 plus young programme, Mr Joshi noted that during October-December about 300 people had taken up this programme and had visited the Far East.
