Kerala to join VAT from April 1

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State will join its counterparts in the rest of the country in switching over to the value-added tax (VAT) regime from April 1 onwards.

Announcing this, an official spokesman said here that that the State would also enforce the decisions taken at the national level in connection with the implementation of VAT.
