Diploma in med transcription

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The public sector Keltron has invited application for its six-month-long diploma course in medical transcription.

Those who successfully complete the course with the prescribed scores will get placements on a contract basis with the Keltron Medical Transcription Centre being set up.

Computer literates with proven speed in data entry and listening capability in English can apply. Selection will be done on the basis of a screening test to be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. The number of seats up for grabs is 50.

Applications form for the screening test is available for free with the Keltron Coordinators in the Deputy Collector (Election) offices in all district collectorates and the Keltron Equipment Complex at Karakulam near here. It can be downloaded from www.keltron.org.

Fee for the screening test is Rs 250. Last date for submitting the application is January 31.
