Corporation Bank staff urged to focus on improving quality

THE Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr V.K. Chopra, has asked his staff to concentrate on improving the quality of assets to remain strong in the competitive environment.

A press release by the Corporation Bank Officers' Organisation (CBOO) said here on Thursday that Mr Chopra was addressing a get-together of officers, organised by the CBOO, in Mangalore on Wednesday.

Mr Chopra underlined the need to make the bank a better place to work for employees, to promote customer loyalty and to add value to the stakeholders.

Complementing the workforce for its dedication and hard work, he said, "When the bank is strong and progressive, all the employees are assured of an identity".

He urged the officers to respond to the needs and expectations of the society.
