Covai flower show put off

COIMBATORE: Citing tsunami catastrophe, the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has decided to postpone the Covai Flower Show 2005, scheduled for January 29 and 30 to a later date.

The TNAU Vice-Chancellor, Dr C. Ramaswamy, was however non-committal on the proposed date. He merely stated that the show stood postponed for the present.

The Vice Chancellor had earlier indicated that the Covai Flower show was being revived after 15 years.
