TCS completes PLL project

MUMBAI: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has said it had successfully implemented SAP R/3 4.7 at Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL), calling the project a first for itself in the oil and gas sector in India as well as worldwide.

The implementation was carried out at the PLL headquarters in New Delhi as well as at its LNG plant in Dahej, Gujarat, with a total team size of 25 people. They embarked upon this project in April 2004 and achieved `Go-Live' recently.

The deployment of SAP will help PLL in planning its complex financial management & commercial processes with its customers and vendors, said the release.
