Nucleaus Soft Q3 profit trebles

NUCLEUS Software Exports Ltd, provider of next generation software products for banking and financial sector, has announced a profit of Rs 5.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 compared to Rs 1.7 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The consolidated revenue increased by 47.37 per cent to Rs 27 crore from Rs 18.3 crore.

For the nine-month period, the consolidated revenue increased by 25.77 per cent to Rs 72.1 crore from Rs 57.3 crore in the previous year. Net profit after tax (PAT) increased to Rs 12.2 crore from Rs 5.3 crore.

Nucleus' list of clients includes General Motors Acceptance Corporation, American Express Bank and Bank of America.
