Sasken gets certification

BANGALORE: Embedded telecom software solutions provider Sasken Communication Technologies has been certified to BS 7799 standard.

Sasken is the first Indian organisation in the telecom software sector to acquire this certification for all its facilities as well as its subsidiaries, the company claims. It has three development centres in Bangalore, one in Pune and Bangalore-based subsidiaries.

BS 7799 is the code of practice for Information Security Management and aims to allow compliant companies to publicly demonstrate their ability to safeguard confidentiality, integrity and availability of client information.
