Panel on oil PSUs' revamp notified

New Delhi , Jan. 18

THE Government on Tuesday notified the constitution of a six-member advisory committee headed by Mr V. Krishnamurthy to identify the most appropriate structure of oil public sector undertakings as per the National Common Minimum Programme.

Other members of the committee are Mr G.K. Arora, Mr B.C. Bora, Dr Vijay L. Kelkar, Mr G.V. Ramakrishnan and Mr U. Sundararajan. The Committee will be assisted by the Petroleum Policy and Analysis Cell Director, Mr S. Vijayaraghavan, and the Joint Advisor in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mrs Aditi S. Ray.

The committee will submit its report to the Government within two months.
