ESS, MosChip in IP design pact

Hyderabad , Jan. 19

ESS Technology Inc, a Nasdaq listed supplier of silicon solutions for digital audio and video consumer electronics, and MosChip Semiconductor Technology Ltd have announced a four-year association that seeks to jointly develop intellectual property (IP).

The President and Chief Executive Officer of ESS Technology, Mr Robert Blair, in a statement said: "While working on a test project with MosChip over the last few months, we have been impressed by the capability of its engineering team in various facets of IP design, software and IP developmentThe Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MosChip, Mr Ram Reddy, said: collaboration with ESS will add new IP to library, which will enable us to launch new products at reduced costs and shorter time frame."
