Special train between Nagercoil and Chennai to clear rush

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will operate a special train between Nagercoil and Chennai Egmore on January 23 to clear the extra rush of passengers.

A railway spokesman said here that the 612 Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special would leave Nagercoil at 3.30 p.m. on January 23 to reach Chennai Egmore at 7.30 a.m. the next day.

The train will run via Madurai, Tiruchi and Villupuram railway stations. It will have stoppages at Tirunelveli, Vanchhi Maniyachhi, Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudunagar, Madurai Junction, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Tiruchi, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam.
