Hindustan Construction Co turnover up 22 pc

NEW DELHI: Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) has booked a turnover of Rs 377.95 crore for the quarter-ended December 31, 2004, which is 22 per cent higher than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax of Rs 20.26 crore and profit after tax of Rs 12.49 crore increased by 28 per cent and 27 per cent, respectively, compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, said a company release.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2004, turnover is Rs 1051.77 crore which is 34 per cent higher than the corresponding figure in the previous year. The company's order book position stands at an all-time high at Rs 4,245 crore as on December 31, 2004.
