Survey for new railway line in Erode

COIMBATORE: Work on conducting a survey for laying a new broad gauge line in the Chamarajnagar-Sathyamangalam-Mettupalayam route will be inaugurated at Bannari in Erode district on Saturday.

The Union Minister of State for Railways, Mr R.Velu, will inaugurate the survey work in the presence of Union ministers Mr E.V.K.S. Elangovan and Mrs Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan, according to a railway press release.
