Pharmaceuticals Sun Pharma profit rises by 14.6 pc Our Bureau
This profit was after a one-time management fee of Rs 15.7 crore, in connection with the issue of foreign currency convertible bonds and higher research and development expense, a company note said. Total income at Rs 352.69 crore was up 30.4 per cent in the period under review. Sun Pharma posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 109.95 crore, up 25.1 per cent, for the third quarter. It also clocked a total income of Rs 352.66 crore, up 27 per cent, from the same period in the previous year. The company is slated to hold an extraordinary general meeting on February 8 for consideration of appointment of Deloitte Haskins & Sells as statutory auditors, to fill the casual vacancy created on the resignation of the existing auditor.
