Horticulture trade fair in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Department of Horticulture is organising a four-day International Horticulture Trade Fair here from January 25.

The trade fair will bring together growers, processors, exporters, input suppliers, extension workers, scientists, prospective entrepreneurs and consumers of horticulture products from various countries on a common platform, the State Minister for Agriculture, Mr N. Raghuveera Reddy, told newspersons here on Saturday.

He said that there would be 180 exhibitors and over 2.5 lakh visitors at the fair. The National Horticulture Board has come forward to sponsor the visits of 20,000 farmers from the State to the trade fair, he added.
