`Scrap Patents Ordinance'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Shastra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP), a leading non-government organisation, has demanded the withdrawal of the Patent Rules Amendment Ordinance.

A resolution to this effect was passed at the meeting of the district-level committee of the KSSP here on Sunday. An anti-patent rule amendment convention was also staged as part of the event. The CPI leader, Mr P. K. Vasudevan Nair, MP, inaugurated the conference.
