Veritas tool for SMEs

BANGALORE: Storage vendor Veritas Software Corporation, which recently announced a merger with security software firm Symantec, launched the Windows data protection software suite of products for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country on Tuesday.

The Backup Exec suite includes Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows server software, enabling centralised management of backup servers through a single console, Replication Exec 3.1 for integrated recovery and Storage Exec 5.3 for data management, said the Country Manager, Mr Agendra Kumar.
