Elder Pharma Q3 net up 39 pc

MUMBAI: The Mumbai-based Rs 275-crore Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd has clocked a 39 per cent growth in net profit, at Rs 7.02 crore for the three months ended December 31. This is against Rs 5.04 crore registered in the same period last year.

Elder's income from operations has increased to Rs 79.66 crore for the period under review . This is 9 per cent up from Rs 73.01 crore posted in the same period last year.

The company has clocked a net profit of Rs 18.50 crore (Rs 12.74 crore) for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2004. Income from operations was Rs 234.17 crore (Rs 201.82 crore).
