Pentamedia Graphics net up at Rs 3.3 cr

PENTAMEDIA Grapics Ltd has declared a net profit of Rs 3.30 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004, a rise of 26.44 per cent over Rs 2.61 crore in the same quarter the previous year. Revenues grew 24.63 per cent to Rs 45.18 crore (Rs 36.25 crore).

A statement from the company said that its film under production, "Gulliver's Travels", had reached the final stages of production.

It also quoted Mr V. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, as saying that the company's restructuring was complete and that "with Pentamedia focusing on distribution and digital effects services and Mayajaal Entertainment focusing on production and exhibition of TV/Film/Internet content, we have optimised the resources and costs and are ... looking to... give better returns for stakeholders."
