Capstocks holds awareness camp for investors

CAPSTOCKS and Securities India Pvt Ltd (Capstocks), a leading stock broking company, has been conducting a MAPIN (Market participant and investor database) camp here from Tuesday.

Being held in coordination with CMC Ltd, the camp is being held at the Capstocks head office at Winsol Towers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all days till Monday next, holidays included.

Mr V. Rajendran, Managing Director, Capstocks, said here that the MAPIN registration camp was intended to facilitate the investing public comply with the SEBI (Central Database of Market Participants) Regulations, 2003.

Both corporates and individual investors come under the purview of this regulation, which requires that all investors recording transactions with a value of above Rs 1 lakh shall have a Unique Identification Number (UIN) latest by April 1 this year.
