Education Courses in foreign trade Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Badruka Institute of Foreign Trade (BIFT) is planning to start short-term courses in foreign trade to cater to the needs of the industry. "We will talk to corporates and industries to find their requirements and views on this," Dr S. K. Mathur, Director of BIFT, said. Badruka signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) to start BIFT. Addressing reporters here on Thursday, he said Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have showninterest in associating with the institute. The CII also wants to conduct business seminars with BIFT's assistance. He added that the institute would collaborate with premier academic institutes like Administrative College of India to offer wider academic experience to the students. He announced the formation of an alumni group.The institute runs an export promotion cell that undertakes projects from companies.
