Zydus Cadila net up 29 pc

AHMEDABAD: Healthcare products manufacturer Zydus Cadila Ltd has logged a 29 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 39.5 crore for the third quarter of the current financial year.

The Ahmedabad-based company saw sales income rise 7.8 per cent to Rs 278 crore.

The company had logged a net profit of Rs 30.6 crore on sales turnover of Rs 258 in the same quarter last year.

During the quarter under review, the company signed a memorandum of understanding for a strategic intent with Mayne Group of Australia to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients and select anti-cancer injectible products.
