The Hindu Business Line : SBI begins 12-hr banking at MG Road branch in Kochi

KOCHI: The State Bank of India has commenced 12-hour banking at its MG Road branch here to suit the convenience of customers. The extended hours for customer transactions will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during weekdays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday will be the weekly holiday as usual.

The bank aims to increase its share of trade accounts and individual accounts as a result of this initiative. Most of the regular services are provided during the extended hours, Mr S. Ramakrishnan, Deputy General Manager of Ernakulam Module, said in a release.
