Lotte India profit up

CHENNAI: Lotte India Corporation Ltd has registered a net profit of Rs 18 lakh on a turnover of Rs 34.62 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 compared to a net profit of Rs 4 lakh on a turnover of Rs 25.16 crore.

The total expenditure is Rs 33.26 crore (Rs 23.34 crore). According to a press release, the company was able to post a better performance on account of the increase in volume and better product-mix. However, the increase in cost of major raw material such as sugar and packing material has affected the performance of the company.
