People William Haseltine to head Matrix advisory board Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: DR William A. Haseltine, founder of Human Genome Sciences Inc, has been appointed Chairman of Matrix Scientific Advisory Board of Matrix Laboratories Ltd. Dr Haseltine, who was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Human Genome Sciences from 1993 to 2004, is a Professor at the Scripps Research Institute. According to Matrix Labs, the scope of the Board include advising the company on emerging areas in the industry, in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities, alliances in emerging areas, techno-legal issues and assisting the company in identification of therapeutic areas for new drug discovery.
