Service delivery revamp in Kerala
Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has devised a scheme for toning up the service delivery mechanism through offices most frequented by the public and ranking them based on the relative performance.
An official spokesman said that the programme would bring under its focus Government hospitals, schools, gram panchayats, village offices, anganwadis, homes for the aged, and police stations.
It will aim to institutionalise a vastly revamped service delivery mechanism and rate the service outlets based on well-defined and transparent indicators.
The public has been requested to suggest a name that reflects the main intent of the programme, which is qualitative improvement in service delivery. Individuals, institutions and organisations are welcome to suggest names.
Suggestions should reach the Secretary (MGP), MGP Mission Office, Trida Rehabilitation Buildings, Medical College P.O., Thiruvananthapuram-11. Details can be obtained from www.cm.keralamgp.org.
