NEW DELHI: Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 37 crore for the third quarter ended December 2004, up 68 per cent, compared with the Rs 22-crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Cash profit during the quarter increased by more than 90 per cent to Rs 81 crore (against last year's third quarter profit of Rs 43 crore). Total revenue during the quarter stood at Rs 798 crore was up by 77 per cent compared to Rs 451 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
