Nagarjuna Construction Q3 net profit up

HYDERABAD: Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCC) has achieved a net profit of Rs 12.09 crore on a turnover of Rs 265.42 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 2004, as against a net profit of Rs 8.64 crore on a turnover of Rs 192.97 crore in the same period last year.

For the nine-month period, the company posted a turnover of Rs 741.12 crore (Rs 469.95 crore) and a net profit of Rs 33.65 crore (Rs 20.26 crore), registering a growth of 58 per cent in turnover and 66 per cent in net profit.

The EPS (earning per share) for the nine-month period was put at Rs 28.54 (Rs 21.46), an NCC press release said.
