Vergil Tech merges with American Cybersystems

Chennai , Feb. 1

VERGIL Technology (P) Ltd, a software development and consulting services firm with principal operations in Chennai, has merged with American Cybersystems (ACS), a US-based services company.

The terms of the merger were not disclosed. Mr N. Shekar, Chief Executive Officer, Vergil, told Business Line that the merger is with immediate effect, and that 50 of the Vergil's employees would come under ACS, a $12-million firm. Vergil's services division would be renamed ACS India .
