Finolex hikes resin, pipe prices

KOCHI: Finolex Industries Ltd has increased the prices of PVC resin and PVC pipes by Rs 2,000-3,000 per tonne following the upswing in the international prices of polymers and feedstocks and the strong demand in India.

The company has reported a turnover of Rs 291.03 crore for the third quarter ended December 2004 compared to Rs 266.64 crore in the corresponding previous period, an increase of nine per cent, said a release. Net profit for the nine months of the current year rose 26 per cent to Rs 68.26 crore.
