JNTU signs pact with Infotech for staff training programme

INFOTECH Enterprises Ltd, a Hyderabad-based global software services company specialising in geo-spatial, engineering design and IT solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, in an effort to make university education accessible to employees of Infotech.

Under the MoU, JNTU will offer three M. Tech programmes, in the disciplines of mechanical engineering, software engineering and geographic information systems exclusively to the employees of Infotech at the latter's campus in Madhapur.

The curriculum design for each of the M. Tech. programmes has been jointly developed by Infotech and JNTU.

Present on the occasion were the Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech, Mr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, the Executive Vice President, Mr Ashok Reddy,the JNTU Vice-Chancellor, Dr Y. Venkatrami Reddy and Registrar, Prof B.C. Jinaga.
